Prompts that assume stock, ads and approval are real constraints. Not “write me 50 product titles” spam.
Most “free Shopify AI” lists dump random ChatGPT prompts. These are operator prompts: stock-aware, ads-aware, approval-aware. Fill in your numbers once and every prompt below renders with them. Copy into your LLM of choice, then paste the facts each prompt asks for. Better still, use them inside Ralph where store context is already loaded.
Your numbers
Optional. Anything you fill in is dropped into the prompts where you see a highlighted placeholder. Saved in this browser only.
You are the ecommerce operator for {{store}}. Using only the facts I paste below (yesterday's sales, stock cover by variant, Meta spend, Google Shopping issues), list the top 5 actions for today. Our hero SKU is {{sku}} with {{cover}} days of cover. For each action: why it matters, the risk if ignored, and whether it needs human approval before any spend change.
How to use it. Run this first thing, before opening Ads Manager. Paste yesterday's orders by product from Shopify Analytics, the inventory export for your top 20 variants, and yesterday's spend by campaign from Meta and Google. If you have not pasted a number, the model must not guess it.
Thin cover on a hero
Hero SKU {{sku}} has {{cover}} days of cover on the sizes that convert. Ads are still scaling at roughly £{{spend}} a month. Restock lands {{eta}}. Draft a decision: pause, cap, or keep running with honest creative. Include a buffer stock recommendation in units and a two-line Slack message for the team.
How to use it. Use when a bestseller is running low but ads still look efficient. Paste units on hand per variant, units sold per variant over the last 14 days, and the supplier's confirmed restock date. If the ETA is a guess, say so in the prompt so the answer hedges properly.
Meta DPA out of stock
Explain whether Meta dynamic product ads will stop showing a size or colour that is out of stock in Shopify for {{store}}. Separate three things: catalogue availability, ad set pause, and static creative that still shows the item. Give me a 5-step audit I can run in 20 minutes.
How to use it. Use after a stockout when you suspect ads are still selling the missing variant. Paste the product's Shopify variant list with inventory, the catalogue feed row for that product if you can export it, and the names of the ad sets running it.
Collection rewrite
Rewrite this collection SEO title and meta description for UK search intent. Store: {{store}}. Keep the brand voice plain. No hype words. Title under 60 characters, description under 160. Flag if the collection mixes in out-of-stock products.
How to use it. Paste the current title and description from the collection's search engine listing fields, the top three queries Search Console shows for that page, and the product list with stock status. Check the output in the SEO title checker before you ship it.
Agency retainer review
I pay a Shopify growth retainer for {{store}} and spend about £{{spend}} a month on ads. Build a scope checklist: media buying, creative, stock changes mid-flight, reporting, kill rules. Mark what software should own overnight and what humans should own.
How to use it. Use before a renewal conversation. Paste the current scope from the contract or proposal, last month's invoice line items, and the last two monthly reports. Put the numbers through the agency cost model as well.
ROAS looks fine
ROAS for {{store}} is stable but refunds and support tickets are up. List the measurement traps (remarketing share, low cover on {{sku}}, delayed fulfilment) and the three metrics I should pull before I scale spend.
How to use it. Use when the dashboard says scale but the warehouse says otherwise. Paste 30-day ROAS by campaign, refund rate by product, average days to dispatch, and the share of spend on remarketing versus prospecting.
Free Shopify AI that is not pretending
Generic AI does not know your cover days, product sets, or which Meta creative features a dead UK 10. Ralph is built so the model sees correlated store truth and still waits for your yes. That is the difference between a prompt pack and an operator desk.
This page is a free prompt library. Ralph is the product that runs AI against your connected store with approval gates.
Can I use these with ChatGPT or Claude?
Yes. Paste facts from Shopify and Ads exports. Do not invent numbers in the prompt.
Where are my numbers stored?
In your browser only, using localStorage, so they are still there next visit on the same device. Nothing is sent to a server. Remove them with the Clear button.
Privacy. Runs in your browser. Your numbers stay in this browser's localStorage. Nothing uploaded. Ralph is the desk that does this with live store data.
